How Does it Work?

How Does the Rapid RH L6 Work?

Relative humidity (RH) testing, standardized as ASTM F2170, involves placing in situ RH sensors at specific depths in the slab.

After allowing the RH sensors to equilibrate, measurements of RH and temperature are taken to assess the overall moisture condition of the slab.

How Does the DataGrabber Work?

The DataGrabber with Bluetooth engages the L6 Smart Sensor to collect and store concrete RH and temperature readings within the sensor according to a set time interval.

This information is then transmitted via Bluetooth signal and the Rapid RH® L6 DataGrabber® Range Extender (DGRE) to the Floorcloud sensor.

How Does Floorcloud Work?

Floorcloud sensors work with the Rapid RH sensor and DataGrabber with Bluetooth to monitor jobsite ambient climate conditions, concrete relative humidity, and temperature hourly, 24/7/365.

All data is transmitted to a cloud database via the cellular network for comparison against manufacturer’s specifications.

If site conditions are out of range, project leads immediately get alerts on their phone so corrective actions can be taken quickly before issues escalate.
